In the weeks after his collapse, the office changed.

What started as a small tribute called “Sandwich Fridays” quickly became something bigger. Employees who once spent lunch breaks scrolling through their phones now gathered around folding tables stacking bread, packing meals, and writing handwritten notes for struggling families.

The movement spread beyond the office.

Neighbors joined.

Schools participated.

Local bakeries donated supplies.
